Eyelid Surgery

Eyelid surgery is a type of cosmetic surgery where the skin around the eye is reshaped. This procedure can remove excess skin from the upper lids and to remove fat, or reposition fat from the lower lids that means removes excess fat from our upper eyelids and lower eyelids. It could repair drooping eyelids and puffy bags within the eyes. Upper and lower lid surgery can be performed together or separately. Eyelid surgery is the most common surgery performed on Graves ophthalmopathy patients and it can be performed on upper and/or lower eyelids to reverse the effects of Graves' on the eyelids. There are several techniques that doctors use when dealing with eyelid surgery. To minimize the risk of complications due to eyelid surgery, patients are first screened to ensure the procedure would be appropriate and the risk of complications low. The proper training of the surgeon is of course of primary importance.
